Complimentary consultations offer a valuable opportunity for us to connect, understand your unique needs, and discuss your health.

This conversation allows us to gauge whether we align and if my approach resonates with the outcomes you envision.

During this time, I welcome you to ask questions, share your concerns, and gain insights into the care plans I offer.

Ultimately, these consultations support you to make an informed decision to initiate work together, ensuring that we are the right fit to support your path in health and wellness.

FAQ:

Do you take extended health benefits? Yes! If you're located in Ontario, you can use your insurance coverage towards our appointments together.

Do you work with infants or children? Yes, I do! I've done quite extensive training in pediatrics, both with clinical hours and within an integrative medical setting while living in Singapore. I work with many families- children and parents.

Are you comfortable with your patients being on pharmaceutical medication? Absolutely. Naturopathic Doctors are trained in understanding contraindications of herbs and supplements along with pharmaceutical medications. At the same time, we are also trained in understanding which pharmaceuticals deplete which nutrients within the body, and therefore may prescribe nutrients for these possible deficiencies. Some of my patients remain on pharmaceuticals while also pursuing natural treatments. Some patients choose to completely follow the natural route. I follow a non-judgemental, patient-centered approach that welcomes all individuals where they are.

Are you welcoming to 2SLGBTQ+ people? Most definitely. I maintain a very diverse patient base that is centered around inclusion and respect. Knowing that Queer and Trans people often struggle with finding respectful healthcare, I make it a priority to ensure you feel welcomed and supported with me.

Consultations are a process of discussing and understanding your health needs, then creating a treatment plan based around your bio-characteristics (Ayurvedic Constitution). Conventional and functional tests maybe recommended. In Ontario- most extended healthcare benefit plans provide significant naturopathic medical coverage. Check with your insurance provider to see what's in your plan.
